Madhu Purwar works for the Hilton hotel group in Dubai. She began her EBS MBA in 2001 and took just over two years to complete it.

"There were times when I felt I needed a lot more contact with the faculty, but this is a downside to any distance learning programme. What is really exciting, however, is the development of the online MBA from EBS, which I believe comes into full swing next year. While face-to-face contact is obviously still not possible, I am sure students who struggle with distance learning will benefit greatly from the enhanced online methodology. EBS certainly appears to be taking 'distance' out of 'distance-learning'!"

So confident is Madhu about EBS's future direction that she has convinced three people to undertake the programme. "One is my husband. So even after he has seen what I went through, we both still believe EBS's MBA is right for him!"
